Synopsis:

Kate, a sweet and kind woman, is dying of cancer and pregnant by her abusive husband, Dexter. Unbeknownst to her, Dexter and her step-sister, Allison, are plotting to kill her for her billion-dollar inheritance. Dexter only married Kate for the money, coerced by his mother, and truly loves Allison, mistakenly believing Allison saved his life years ago when it was actually Kate.

Kate's doctor, who has always loved her, attempts a new cancer treatment. Kate's primary concern is her baby's health. Dexter, unaware of the pregnancy, dismisses the news as a ploy for sympathy and disbelieves both her cancer diagnosis and the doctor, suspecting the doctor's love for Kate is behind the deception.

Kate soon discovers her billionaire status and Dexter's concealment of her inheritance. After her cancer is cured, Kate devises a plan to fake her death and frame Dexter as revenge for his wrongdoings. The story concludes with Dexter's suicide and Allison's imprisonment. Kate and the doctor share a passionate kiss, but Kate decides to embark on a journey of self-discovery. She drives off into the sunset in a new convertible with her baby, whom she names "New Life," leaving her past behind.
